IF I WERE {BLANK}, I'D REALLY BE WORRIED.
Olin Buchanan: Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen. Friedgen is catching heat after last year's two-win debacle, and another losing season may mean the end of his run at Maryland.
Tom Dienhart: UNC coach Butch Davis. What looked like a breakthrough season may morph into a big pile of disappointment. If the Tar Heels don't get over the hump this season under Davis, will it ever happen?
David Fox: UNC QB T.J. Yates. North Carolina's chances at the ACC title depend on the offense, and he has thrown 37 interceptions in 32 games. He must face defenses from LSU, Georgia Tech and Rutgers in his first three games.
Mike Huguenin: N.C. State coach Tom O'Brien. Despite the presence of QB Russell Wilson, the Wolfpack have been to just one bowl under O'Brien, who left Boston College in a rare intraconference move because he thought NCSU had a higher ceiling. Things haven't worked out, and given that there's a new AD and that the Wolfpack are expected to finish fifth or sixth in their division, O'Brien's tenure may not last much longer. In addition, if North Carolina has the season that's expected of it, that puts even more pressure on the Wolfpack.
Steve Megargee: UNC QB T.J. Yates. A star-studded defense has raised hopes that the Tar Heels can win their first ACC title since 1980, which puts pressure on Yates to rebound from a disappointing season. Yates also is facing serious competition from redshirt freshman Bryn Renner.
