At 1:20 p.m. ET each Monday, releases the 120 at 1:20, Mike Huguenin's ranking of every major college football team in the nation.

The top seven teams remained the same in our 1-120 rankings this week.

For the second week in a row, the top six teams are the remaining six unbeatens, while the bottom three are the three remaining winless teams.

One team, Rice, won its first game of the season, beating Tulane.

On to the rankings.

Mike Huguenin's 120 at 1:20
1. Texas (10-0)
BUZZ: The Longhorns have allowed 38 total points in their past four games. Given Kansas' offensive problems, that number doesn't figure to grow by too much this week. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Kansas.
2. Alabama (10-0)
BUZZ: A national title and a Heisman Trophy winner in the same season? It never would get any better for a Crimson Tide fan. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Chattanooga.
3. Florida (10-0)
BUZZ: The Gators allowed 31 second-half yards to South Carolina last weekend. If their defense comes to play, that might be all FIU gets for the game. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Florida International.
4. TCU (10-0)
BUZZ: The Horned Frogs pounded Utah, and there's no reason they shouldn't finish 12-0 and in the BCS. NEXT: Saturday, at Wyoming.
5. Cincinnati (10-0)
BUZZ: The Bearcats are off this week to prepare for a visit from a Big Ten team, which will be a breather of sorts as they ready for the regular-season finale at Pitt. NEXT: Nov. 27, vs. Illinois.
6. Boise State (10-0)
BUZZ: Last week's win over Idaho enabled Boise State to move to 34-0 all-time in WAC home games. NEXT: Friday, at Utah State.
7. Georgia Tech (10-1)
BUZZ: The Yellow Jackets clinched the ACC Coastal Division title this past weekend. Now, they get a week off to prepare for the defense-challenged Bulldogs. NEXT: Nov. 28, vs. Georgia.
8. LSU (8-2)
BUZZ: The Tigers weren't that impressive in beating Louisiana Tech, but it came with backup QB Jarrett Lee going the whole way. NEXT: Saturday, at Ole Miss.
9. Oregon (8-2)
BUZZ: The Ducks beat up on Arizona State over the weekend. This weekend, they get Arizona. NEXT: Saturday, at Arizona.
10. Pittsburgh (9-1)
BUZZ: The Panthers have won six in a row, and they'll take this weekend off to prepare for season-ending games against West Virginia and Cincinnati. NEXT: Nov. 27, at West Virginia.
11. Ohio State (9-2)
BUZZ: The Buckeyes clinched the Big Ten's BCS bid by beating Iowa in OT. It will be their first trip to the Rose Bowl since the '96 season, when John Cooper was coach. NEXT: Saturday, at Michigan.
12. Stanford (7-3)
BUZZ: RB Toby Gerhart wishes he could play against Oregon or USC every week after carving them up to the tune of 401 yards and six touchdowns the past two weeks. NEXT: Saturday, vs. California.
13. Iowa (9-2)
BUZZ: The Hawkeyes played surprisingly well behind a backup quarterback in losing in overtime at Ohio State. A BCS at-large berth remains a possibility. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Minnesota.

BUZZ: The Cowboys have committed 17 turnovers, and nine of them came in their two losses. NEXT: Thursday, vs. Colorado.

BUZZ: The Utes need to rebound from their hammering at the hands of TCU. NEXT: Saturday, vs. San Diego State.
17. Miami (7-3)
BUZZ: Sophomore QB Jacory Harris has a big-time arm, but he has to learn how to take better care of the ball. Harris has thrown 16 picks this season. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Duke.
18. Arizona (6-3)
BUZZ: The Wildcats face a must-win game if they're to remain in the running for the Pac-10 title. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Oregon.

20. Clemson (7-3)
BUZZ: The Tigers have won five in a row and seem certain to win the ACC Atlantic Division title. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Virginia.
21. USC (7-3)
BUZZ: The Trojans' defense was overrun for the second time in three weeks. Is it us, or are the Trojans powerless to stop opposing teams that run right at them? NEXT: Nov. 28 vs. UCLA.
22. Penn State (9-2)
BUZZ: The Nittany Lions had eight home games this season -- but only won six of them. NEXT: Saturday, at Michigan State.

BUZZ: Thanks to a loss at UCF, the Cougars no longer control their destiny in the C-USA West Division race. The offense is excellent, the defense rancid. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Memphis.
25. Wisconsin (8-2)
BUZZ: The Badgers finish Big Ten play this weekend against Northwestern, then take a week off before traveling to play Hawaii on Dec. 5. NEXT: Saturday, at Northwestern.
26. California (7-3)
BUZZ: "The Big Game" actually is big this season. One team has Rose Bowl aspirations -- and it's not Cal. NEXT: Saturday, at Stanford.
27. Nebraska (7-3)
BUZZ: Saturday's game against K-State is for the Big 12 North championship. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Kansas State.

29. Ole Miss (7-3)
BUZZ: The Rebels pounded Tennessee, which had been playing good defense. Can they do the same thing to LSU, which also has been playing good defense? NEXT: Saturday, vs. LSU.

BUZZ: The Sooners have scored 68 points in their past two games -- and 65 of those were scored against Texas A&M this past weekend. NEXT: Saturday, at Texas Tech.

35. West Virginia (7-3)
BUZZ: The Mountaineers are out of the running for the Big East title, but a victory over their archrival would put some salve on that problem. NEXT: Nov. 27, vs. Pittsburgh.
36. Auburn (7-4)
BUZZ: The Tigers jumped out to an early 14-0 lead on Georgia, then the offense went to sleep and they lost. The Tigers are off this week to get ready to host the Tide. NEXT: Nov. 27, vs. Alabama.
37. Rutgers (7-2)
BUZZ: The Scarlet Knights have a good record. The best news? Syracuse and Louisville remain on their schedule. NEXT: Saturday, at Syracuse.
38. USF (6-3)
BUZZ: USF played at Rutgers last Thursday. Rutgers showed up, but the Bulls didn't. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Louisville.
39. Arkansas (6-4)
BUZZ: The Hogs have clinched a bowl bid. Now they're looking to improve their bowl positioning. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Mississippi State.

BUZZ: This past weekend's loss at Pitt was the Irish's eighth game this season decided by seven or fewer points. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Connecticut.
41. Air Force (7-4)
BUZZ: The Falcons conclude their regular season this week; they will have played 12 consecutive weekends without a bye week. NEXT: Saturday, at BYU.
42. Tennessee (5-5)
BUZZ: The Vols' defense was gouged by Ole Miss' rushing attack. Dexter McCluster's 282 rushing yards were the most ever gained against a Tennessee defense. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Vanderbilt.

BUZZ: The Gamecocks can salvage some respect if they can knock off their in-state rival in the regular-season finale. NEXT: Nov. 28, vs. Clemson.

BUZZ: The Seminoles seem likely to gain bowl eligibility this weekend against Maryland. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Maryland.
45. Georgia (6-4)
BUZZ: The Bulldogs clinched bowl eligibility by rallying past Auburn in what might have been their best performance of the season. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Kentucky.
46. Northwestern (7-4)
BUZZ: If the Wildcats can beat the Badgers this weekend, it would give them back-to-back eight-win seasons for the first time since 1995-96. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Wisconsin.
47. Connecticut (4-5)
BUZZ: The Huskies, who have lost their past three by a total of 10 points, can intensify the heat on Charlie Weis with a victory this weekend in South Bend. NEXT: Saturday, at Notre Dame.
48. Michigan State (6-5)
BUZZ: The Spartans clinched bowl eligibility by outlasting Purdue. Now, they are looking to beat Penn State for the second time in three seasons. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Penn State.

51. Kentucky (6-4)
BUZZ: UK will be going bowling for the fourth season in a row, which is a big deal for the Wildcats. Now that bowl eligibility is out of the way, they will try to work out a way to upset Georgia and/or Tennessee. NEXT: Saturday, at Georgia.
52. Fresno State (6-4)
BUZZ: We wouldn't blame Fresno defenders if they're having nightmares about what Nevada's rushing attack did to them over the weekend. (The Wolf Pack rushed for 461 yards and seven TDs.) NEXT: Saturday, vs. Louisiana Tech.
53. Kansas State (6-5)
BUZZ: The Wildcats face a must-win game Saturday if they want to become bowl eligible. In the process, they would win the Big 12 North. NEXT: Saturday, at Nebraska.
54. Kansas (5-5)
BUZZ: Kansas started 5-0 and looked like the best team in the Big 12 North. Since, they've lost five in a row and they easily could finish last in the division. NEXT: Saturday, at Texas.
55. Temple (8-2)
BUZZ: The Owls have won eight in a row and can clinch the MAC East title this weekend with a victory and a loss by Ohio University to Northern Illinois. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Kent State.
56. Mississippi State (4-6)
BUZZ: The Bulldogs have lost five of their past seven, but Dan Mullen's arrival has provided an offensive spark. NEXT: Saturday, at Arkansas.
57. Minnesota (6-5)
BUZZ: The Golden Gophers muddled past FCS member South Dakota State. Now, they look to upset the Hawkeyes with the "Floyd of Rosedale" trophy on the line. NEXT: Saturday, at Iowa.
58. East Carolina (6-4)
BUZZ: The Pirates can clinch a tie for the East Division crown in Conference USA with a victory this weekend. NEXT: Sunday, vs. UAB.
59. UCLA (5-5)
BUZZ: The Bruins can nail down a bowl bid if they can beat the Sun Devils this weekend, and that would give Rick Neuheisel's program a needed boost. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Arizona State.
60. Southern Miss (6-4)
BUZZ: Southern Miss has clinched bowl eligibility. Now, the Golden Eagles are playing for bowl positioning. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Tulsa.
61. Arizona State (4-6)
BUZZ: The Sun Devils have to win out -- over UCLA and archrival Arizona -- if they want to go bowling this season. NEXT: Saturday, at UCLA.
62. Wake Forest (4-7)
BUZZ: Wake's three-season string of going to a bowl will end. A promising start has disintegrated into a five-game losing streak. NEXT: Nov. 28, at Duke.
63. Troy (7-3)
BUZZ: A victory this week clinches at least a share of the Sun Belt title, which would be the fourth in a row for the Trojans. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Florida Atlantic.

BUZZ: The Cyclones are bowl eligible in their first season under Paul Rhoads. Now, they're playing for bowl positioning. NEXT: Saturday, at Missouri.
66. SMU (6-4)
BUZZ: The Mustangs are bowl eligible one season after finishing 1-11. Even better: They control their destiny in the C-USA West Division race. NEXT: Saturday, at Marshall.
67. UCF (6-4)
BUZZ: UCF kept its slim hopes alive for the C-USA East crown by shocking Houston. In the process, the Knights became bowl eligible. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Tulane.
68. Middle Tennessee State (7-3)
BUZZ: The Blue Raiders have won four in a row and are looking to finish 5-1 at home this season with a win over Arkansas State. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Arkansas State.
69. Texas A&M (5-5)
BUZZ: The Aggies -- coming off a 55-point beatdown at the hands of Oklahoma -- better win this week if they want to go to a bowl. They close the season vs. Texas. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Baylor.
70. Purdue (4-7)
BUZZ: If the Boilermakers can finish 5-7, you'd have to say the first season for coach Danny Hope was at least a mild success. NEXT: Saturday, at Indiana.
71. Michigan (5-6)
BUZZ: "Michigan shocks Ohio State at 'The Big House' and locks down a bowl bid!" Hey, Wolverines fans can dream, can't they? NEXT: Saturday, vs. Ohio State.
72. Duke (5-5)
BUZZ: The Blue Devils still can become bowl eligible by beating Miami and Wake Forest. That doesn't seem too likely, does it? NEXT: Saturday, at Miami.
73. Idaho (7-4)
BUZZ: Idaho is having a nice season, but the weekend's result -- a 48-point loss -- showed the Vandals have a long way to go before they're on equal footing with Boise State. NEXT: Nov. 28, vs. Utah State.
74. Ohio University (7-3)
BUZZ: The Bobcats still have a shot at the MAC East title, but it almost certainly would require them to win this weekend. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Northern Illinois.
75. Tulsa (4-6)
BUZZ: The Golden Hurricane, who have lost five in a row, still can become bowl eligible if they beat Southern Miss and Memphis. NEXT: Saturday, at Southern Miss.

BUZZ: Remember when that win over USC meant something? Since beating the Trojans, the Huskies have lost six of seven. NEXT: Nov. 28, vs. Washington State.
77. Marshall (5-5)
BUZZ: The Thundering Herd need to win one of their final two games -- against SMU at home and UTEP on the road -- to become bowl eligible. Coach Mark Snyder likely needs a bowl appearance to keep his job. NEXT: Saturday, vs. SMU.
78. N.C. State (4-6)
BUZZ: It's still mystifying as to how the Wolfpack were able to beat Pittsburgh. NEXT: Saturday, at Virginia Tech.

BUZZ: The Falcons still have a chance -- and a relatively good one -- to finish second in the MAC East in coach Dave Clawson's first season. NEXT: Friday, vs. Akron.
80. Virginia (3-7)
BUZZ: The Cavaliers appear headed to a 3-9 finish, and you'd think that would mean the end of Al Groh's tenure in Charlottesville. NEXT: Saturday, at Clemson.

90. Kent State (5-5)
BUZZ: The Golden Flashes remain alive to nab at least a portion of the MAC East title, but they must win out and get a lot of help. NEXT: Saturday, at Temple.
91. Louisiana-Monroe (6-4)

92. UAB (5-5)
BUZZ: The Blazers have reached the five-win plateau, but becoming bowl eligible will require upsetting either East Carolina or UCF. NEXT: Saturday, at East Carolina.
93. Wyoming (5-5)
BUZZ: The Cowboys used a fourth-quarter rally to win at San Diego State. The win means a bowl bid is within reach: All it will take is a win over TCU (extremely unlikely) or Colorado State (we'd say that actually would be likely). NEXT: Saturday, vs. TCU.
94. Maryland (2-8)
BUZZ: The Terps have lost five in a row and seem destined to end the season on a seven-game losing streak. NEXT: Saturday, at Florida State.

96. San Diego State (4-6)
BUZZ: The Aztecs blew a 21-point lead in losing to Wyoming. Had they won, a bowl bid was within reach. NEXT: Saturday, at Utah.
97. Buffalo (3-7)
BUZZ: So close and yet so far: The Bulls' past three losses have come by a combined seven points. NEXT: Wednesday, at Miami University.
98. Colorado State (3-7)

99. UTEP (3-7)
BUZZ: The Miners rolled up 627 yards of offense against SMU this past weekend -- and lost by three. NEXT: Saturday, at Rice.
100. Army (4-6)
BUZZ: The Black Knights hit the road this weekend, then take two weeks off before finishing up against Navy on Dec. 12. NEXT: Saturday, at North Texas.
101. Vanderbilt (2-9)
BUZZ: The Commodores had hopes of a second straight bowl bid this season. Those hopes are long gone, but an upset of the Vols would salvage some respect. NEXT: Saturday, at Tennessee.
102. Louisiana Tech (3-7)
BUZZ: The Bulldogs have struggled this season, but give them some credit for how they've played the past two weeks, losing by 10 to Boise and by eight to LSU. NEXT: Saturday, at Fresno State.
103. Florida Atlantic (3-6)
BUZZ: Before the season, this weekend's game looked as if it would be an important one in the Sun Belt race. Now, it's a chance for a disappointing FAU team to play spoiler. NEXT: Saturday, at Troy.
104. Hawaii (4-6)
BUZZ: The four teams Hawaii has beaten have a combined five wins over FBS opponents. NEXT: Saturday, at San Jose State.
105. Tulane (3-7)

BUZZ: The defense actually has been OK, for the most part. The offense, though, has been a disaster. NEXT: Friday, at Bowling Green.
110. Washington State (1-9)

BUZZ: The Red Wolves have been the most disappointing team in the Sun Belt this season. NEXT: Saturday, at Middle Tennessee State.
112. New Mexico State (3-7)
