CHICAGO - Mark Dantonio did not try to downplay expectations for the upcoming season when asked about expectations for his football team during Tuesday morning interviews at the Big Ten Media Days.
"I would be disappointed if we don't go to a bowl game," said Dantonio. "I think we have that ability. I honestly do."
When asked how he would describe the mindset of his football team Dantonio answered "Resolve. I have seen a lot of resolve."

Dantonio indicated that incoming freshmen quarterbacks Nick Foles and Kirk Cousins have had strong summer workouts.
"I hear that both of those guys can hum it," Dantonio said.
