Clemson Official Visit Update: Mason Cloy

Clemson verbal commit Mason Cloy was one of over a dozen official visitors in Clemson this weekend. The Columbia - Spring Valley offensive lineman also was one of the first players to meet with head coach Tommy Bowden.


"My player-host was Thomas Austin. He's awesome," Cloy told Tigerillustrated.com Sunday. "I've hung out with him before. His brother and I are friends. We know each other real well."


Cloy said upon arrival on Friday, he joined other prospects for dinner at Clemson's West Zone complex in Death Valley, followed by dessert at Bowden's home on Lake Hartwell.
