West Mifflin's Green visits Pitt

For West Mifflin quarterback Leon Green, he enters his junior year having accomplished a lot. By the time most kids become juniors, they begin to get their playing time. For Green, who has been with the Titan varsity program since he was in ninth grade In 2005, his first season as the starting quarterback, he led the Titans all the way to the WPIAL semifinals, a 24-21 loss to eventual state champion Franklin Regional The Titans finished 11-1, including a 6-0 record in the tough Big Seven conference, a near improbable task.

A dual-threat quarterback, Green has received attention from Pitt, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Florida State and Connecticut.
