Wildcats offer 3,000-yard running back
Rushing for 3,077 yards and 32 touchdowns in a season will get you noticed, and that has been the case for running back Montee Ball, who put up those monstrous numbers at Wentzville (MO) Timberland as a junior last season. The 5-foot-11, 204-pounder has collected four offers thus far this spring, and he could be getting a couple more soon.
Ball told WildcatReport that getting those written offers in the mail has been a gratifying experience.
"It's really exciting because it means that all of that hard work is paying off," he said. "I'm going to start to hang them in my room."
Ball will now be able to hang a letter from Northwestern on his bedroom wall because he received a scholarship offer from the Wildcats just a few days ago.
