2005 (Redshirt): JUNIOR COLLEGE — The honorable mention All-American (J.C. Grid-Wire) ranked 34th in the country among junior college recruits by Rivals.com. Helped pave the way for the Wolverines to finish the regular season 12th in the state in total offense (430.7 avg.). The two-time all-Mid Empire Conference pick proved to be a dominant force along the offensive line at tackle yet possesses the athleticism to play either tackle or guard in Oregon’s offense which places a premium on strength up the middle. Developed into a key component for a program that extended its winning streak to 37 games before dropping a late-season contest to Feather River College. Yet Sierra still finished 25th nationally in the final J.C. Grid-Wire poll with a 9-2 record following a 35-24 win over Butte in the Holiday Bowl.

The Good: Fluid off the snap and has a smooth kick step in pass protection. Plays with good balance and coordination for a man his size and displays natural footwork in space. Showcases a powerful, jarring punch and recoils quickly. A powerful run blocker who stays lower into his blocks and explodes through his hips. Is an ideal RT prospect at the next level. The Bad: Plays a bit too high and lacks great foot quickness or re-direction speed to adjust to blitzing linebackers off the edge. Isn’t real natural in space and struggles reaching blocks and consistently hitting a moving target.
