At 1:20 p.m. ET each Monday, Rivals.com releases the 120 at 1:20, Mike Huguenin's ranking of every major college football team in the nation.

Mike Huguenin is the college sports editor for Rivals.com.
He can be heard on Rivals Radio every Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. ET and can be reached at mhuguenin@rivals.com.
Here are our weekly 1-120 rankings.

The top 16 teams remained the same from last week, but there was a shakeup in the rest of the top 25.

How do we come up with the rankings? A few things stand out: We take into account who a team has beaten and where, we generally take a "what have you done for me lately?" attitude and ? as a tiebreaker ? it's who we think would win on a neutral field.

Mike Huguenin's 120 at 1:20
1. TEXAS TECH (10-0)
THE BUZZ: The last game, a home contest against Oklahoma State, may have been the biggest in school history for all of two weeks. Now, this week's game is the biggest in school history. NEXT: Saturday, at Oklahoma.
2. ALABAMA (11-0)
THE BUZZ: The Crimson Tide gets a week off so coaches can figure out a way to snap their six-game losing streak to Auburn. NEXT: Nov. 29, vs. Auburn.
3. FLORIDA (9-1)
THE BUZZ: For the second week in a row, the Gators had scored more points by early in the second quarter ? 28 ? than their opponents previously had given up in a game this season ? 24. This week could be truly ugly. NEXT: Saturday, vs. The Citadel.
4. TEXAS (10-1)
THE BUZZ: The Longhorns get a week off so coaches can figure out a way to snap their two-game losing streak to Texas A&M. NEXT: Nov. 27, vs. Texas A&M.
5. OKLAHOMA (9-1)
THE BUZZ: A shootout of epic proportions looms this week. And remember that Bob Stoops has lost just twice at home since he has been OU's coach. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Texas Tech.
6. USC (9-1)
THE BUZZ: The Trojans got some payback for last season's loss to Stanford. Still, they had to sweat it out for nearly three quarters. NEXT: Nov. 29, vs. Notre Dame.
7. UTAH (11-0)
THE BUZZ: For the second time in five seasons, a game with rival BYU is all that stands between the Utes and a perfect record and a BCS bid. NEXT: Saturday, vs. BYU.
8. PENN STATE (10-1)
THE BUZZ: The Nittany Lions' run defense will get a workout from Michigan State's Javon Ringer. And a Rose Bowl berth will be on the line. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Michigan State.
9. GEORGIA (9-2)
THE BUZZ: The Bulldogs get a week off so coaches can try to prepare for Georgia Tech's triple-option attack. NEXT: Nov. 29, vs. Georgia Tech.
10. OKLAHOMA STATE (9-2)
THE BUZZ: The Cowboys get a week off so coaches can figure out a way to snap their five-game losing streak to Oklahoma. NEXT: Nov. 29, vs. Oklahoma.
11. MISSOURI (9-2)
THE BUZZ: The Tigers have clinched their second consecutive Big 12 North title, but they still don't want to lose to the hated Jayhawks. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Kansas in Kansas City, Mo.
12. TCU (9-2)
THE BUZZ: The Horned Frogs' rush defense has been magnificent, but Air Force's option attack is the type that could cause all sorts of problems. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Air Force.
13. BOISE STATE (10-0)
THE BUZZ: The Broncos' six conference wins have come by an average of 31.8 points per game. NEXT: Saturday, at Nevada.
14. BYU (10-1)
THE BUZZ: BYU-Utah is a nasty rivalry as it is. This season, it takes on added importance, as the Cougars will be looking to spoil their rival's potential BCS trip. NEXT: Saturday, at Utah.
15. OHIO STATE (9-2)
THE BUZZ: Quick quiz ? when is the last time a Michigan-Ohio State game was this much of an afterthought? NEXT: Saturday, vs. Michigan.
16. MICHIGAN STATE (9-2)
THE BUZZ: The Spartans go to Happy Valley knowing a victory over Penn State will get them at least a share of the Big Ten title. They also know that if they win and Michigan beats Ohio State, they're Rose Bowl-bound. NEXT: Saturday, at Penn State.
17. BALL STATE (10-0)
THE BUZZ: Go ahead ? you can call Wednesday's game the biggest in school history for the Cardinals. NEXT: Wednesday, at Central Michigan.
18. OREGON STATE (7-3)
THE BUZZ: The Beavers are two wins away from going to the Rose Bowl for the first time since the 1964 season. NEXT: Saturday, at Arizona.
19. PITTSBURGH (7-2)
THE BUZZ: Pitt's trip to Cincy is a de facto Big East title game for the Bearcats. NEXT: Saturday, at Cincinnati.
20. CINCINNATI (8-2)
THE BUZZ: A win over the Panthers and the Bearcats all but lock up the Big East crown ? and the resultant BCS bid. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Pittsburgh.
21. OREGON (8-3)
THE BUZZ: The Ducks are off this week after holding off Arizona. The regular-season finale against Oregon State in the "Civil War" could have more meaning than usual if the Beavers get past Arizona this week. NEXT: Nov. 29, at Oregon State.
22. MIAMI (7-3)
THE BUZZ: The Hurricanes control their destiny in the ACC Coastal race, but their run defense will get a big test this week from Georgia Tech's option-based attack. NEXT: Thursday, at Georgia Tech.
23. MARYLAND (7-3)
THE BUZZ: Just when you think the Terps ? who are 6-0 at home ? are out of it, they rise up and come away with a big victory. They control their fate in the ACC Atlantic race. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Florida State.
24. BOSTON COLLEGE (7-3)
THE BUZZ: BC's upset of Florida State kept the Eagles alive in the ACC Atlantic title chase. Saturday's game will be their third trip to North Carolina this season ? they beat NC State but lost to UNC. NEXT: Saturday, at Wake Forest.
25. LSU (7-3)
THE BUZZ: The Tigers used a monster fourth quarter to avoid an embarrassing loss to Troy. LSU was down 31-3 before it rallied. Too bad a lot of fans that left in the third quarter missed the comeback. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Ole Miss.
26. FLORIDA STATE (7-3)
THE BUZZ: The Seminoles couldn't run or stop the run against Boston College. It's no surprise, then, that they lost. NEXT: Saturday, at Maryland.

THE BUZZ: The Yellow Jackets still are mathematically alive in the ACC Coastal race. But they must beat Miami to keep their hopes alive. NEXT: Thursday, vs. Miami.
29. CENTRAL MICHIGAN (8-2)
THE BUZZ: Central Michigan has won six in a row, and Wednesday's game against Ball State almost certainly will be for the MAC West title. NEXT: Wednesday, vs. Ball State.
30. IOWA (7-4)
THE BUZZ: The Hawkeyes still have hopes for a New Year's Day bowl, but they must beat fading Minnesota to keep the dream alive. NEXT: Saturday, at Minnesota.
31. WEST VIRGINIA (6-3)
THE BUZZ: If Bill Stewart thinks the natives are restless now, he'd better not lose this weekend to Louisville. NEXT: Saturday, at Louisville.
32. CONNECTICUT (7-3)
THE BUZZ: UConn could have an enjoyable trip this weekend. First, it will be a lot warmer in Tampa than it is in Storrs. Plus, USF seems to have hit a wall and is falling apart. NEXT: Sunday, at USF.
33. NORTHWESTERN (8-3)
THE BUZZ: There's a lot on the line for the Wildcats. First, a nine-win season is possible. Second, there's the possibility of keeping rival Illinois ? which is one win from bowl eligibility ? out of the postseason a season after the Illini went to the Rose Bowl. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Illinois.
34. SOUTH CAROLINA (7-4)
THE BUZZ: Steve Spurrier was on the wrong end of a beatdown administered by Florida. In the past two seasons, his Gamecocks have been outscored 107-37 by the Gators. NEXT: Nov. 29, at Clemson.
35. CALIFORNIA (6-4)
THE BUZZ: Once again, a season that held some promise is going to end up as a not-so-good season ? unless the Golden Bears can beat Stanford and Washington to close out the regular season. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Stanford.
36. VIRGINIA TECH (6-4)
THE BUZZ: We've said it once and we will say it again: The Hokies' passing attack reeks. Actually, it's embarrassing. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Duke.
37. TULSA (8-2)
THE BUZZ: The Golden Hurricane's BCS dreams were dashed two weeks ago in a loss to Arkansas. Evidently, they weren't over it. In their first game back on the field after the setback, they were mauled 70-30 by Houston. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Tulane.
38. NEBRASKA (7-4)
THE BUZZ: The Huskers are looking good for an eighth victory, which likely would have new coach Bo Pelini feeling good about the direction of the program ? until he remembers that his defense gave up 186 points in the four losses. NEXT: Nov. 28, vs. Colorado.
39. WESTERN MICHIGAN (9-2)
THE BUZZ: The Broncos still have a chance to tie for the MAC West championship, and a bowl bid looks extremely likely. NEXT: Nov. 25, at Ball State.

42. WAKE FOREST (6-4)
THE BUZZ: The Demon Deacons have lost their past three ACC road games, including last Saturday's loss to North Carolina State. Their offense is a mess. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Boston College.

45. HOUSTON (6-4)
THE BUZZ: Last season, the Cougars were hammered 56-7 at Tulsa. This season, they got a little payback ? 70-30 worth. If they win out, they win the West Division title in Conference USA. NEXT: Saturday, vs. UTEP.
46. VIRGINIA (5-5)
THE BUZZ: Each of the Cavs' past two home games has gone into overtime. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Clemson.
47. NOTRE DAME (6-4)
THE BUZZ: The Fighting Irish had to hold on at the end to beat Navy. And by the looks of it, you'd think Notre Dame never had seen an onside kick before. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Syracuse.
48. NAVY (6-4)
THE BUZZ: The Midshipmen almost had a miracle rally to beat Notre Dame. NEXT: Nov. 25, at Northern Illinois.
49. AIR FORCE (8-3)
THE BUZZ: The Falcons' five-game winning streak ended in a home loss to BYU. It sure doesn't get any easier this week. NEXT: Saturday, at TCU.
50. USF (6-4)
THE BUZZ: The Bulls have been the most disappointing team in the Big East. The have lost three in a row in league play after a pitiful performance at home against Rutgers. NEXT: Sunday, vs. Connecticut.

THE BUZZ: It's safe to say this season as not gone as Ron Zook and his team expected. NEXT: Saturday, at Northwestern.
53. VANDERBILT (6-4)

54. KENTUCKY (6-5)
THE BUZZ: The Wildcats' defense got run over by Vanderbilt. NEXT: Nov. 29, at Tennessee.
55. STANFORD (5-6)
THE BUZZ: The Cardinal played toe-to-toe with USC for almost three quarters. That last quarter, though, was a Trojans knockout. NEXT: Saturday, at California.
56. ARKANSAS (4-6)
THE BUZZ: This will be the final road game this season for the Hogs, who are 1-3 on the road. NEXT: Saturday, at Mississippi State.
57. EAST CAROLINA (6-4)
THE BUZZ: Only in Conference USA can you lose a game and not have to worry about falling out of the division lead. A win this Saturday, and the Pirates clinch at least a portion of the C-USA East crown. NEXT: Saturday, at UAB.
58. CLEMSON (5-5)
THE BUZZ: As disappointing as the Tigers have been this season, they still have a shot at becoming bowl-eligible. NEXT: Saturday, at Virginia.
59. AUBURN (5-6)
THE BUZZ: This season has been a huge disappointment. But the Tigers can make this a season to remember if they can somehow rise up and shock the Crimson Tide in the regular-season finale. NEXT: Nov. 29, at Alabama.

THE BUZZ: The Bulls have won four in a row and control their destiny in the MAC East title chase. NEXT: Friday, at Bowling Green.

THE BUZZ: The Cardinals have lost three in a row and suddenly a second consecutive bowl-less season looms as a distinct possibility. NEXT: Saturday, vs. West Virginia.
62. NORTHERN ILLINOIS (5-5)
THE BUZZ: This will be the third consecutive non-Saturday game for the Huskies. They lost the first two, but the caliber of competition is much weaker this week. NEXT: Tuesday, vs. Kent State.
63. ARIZONA STATE (4-6)
THE BUZZ: Thanks to back-to-back games against Washington and Washington State, the Sun Devils are the proud owners of a two-game winning streak. NEXT: Nov. 28, vs. UCLA.
64. RICE (7-3)
THE BUZZ: The Owls are looking good for an eight-win season, which would be just their second such record since 1953. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Marshall.
65. N.C. STATE (4-6)
THE BUZZ: The Wolfpack have won two in a row, including a victory last Saturday that all but ended Wake's ACC title hopes. NEXT: Saturday, at North Carolina.
66. COLORADO (5-6)
THE BUZZ: Colorado's offense has scuffled all season, which likely means coach Dan Hawkins will be feeling at least a little bit of heat when next season opens. NEXT: Nov. 28, at Nebraska.
67. PURDUE (3-8)
THE BUZZ: The Boilermakers end the season ? and the career of Joe Tiller ? with the Old Oaken Bucket game against Indiana. Can the Boilers muster up one more winning effort for Tiller? NEXT: Saturday, vs. Indiana.
68. RUTGERS (5-5)
THE BUZZ: The Scarlet Knights have won four in a row and are playing as well as almost anybody in the Big East. A bowl bid could be in the offing. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Army.

THE BUZZ: We're still checking on the rumor that Baylor has petitioned the Big 12 Conference office in an attempt to play Texas A&M every week. NEXT: Nov. 29, at Texas Tech.
71. COLORADO STATE (5-6)
THE BUZZ: The Rams have a shot at bowl eligibility, assuming they can beat Wyoming. NEXT: Saturday, at Wyoming.
72. MICHIGAN (3-8)
THE BUZZ: The Wolverines finished their home schedule with a four-game home losing streak. That's fitting, since this is the first time in school history they've lost more than seven games. NEXT: Saturday, at Ohio State.
73. UNLV (5-6)
THE BUZZ: UNLV can become bowl eligible if it can beat San Diego State. This season, beating San Diego State is as easy as finding an automotive manufacturer that needs a bailout. NEXT: Saturday, at San Diego State.
74. MISSISSIPPI STATE (3-7)
THE BUZZ: A loss this weekend and the Bulldogs once again will fall into an all-too-familiar spot ? last in the SEC West. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Arkansas.
75. NEW MEXICO (4-8)
THE BUZZ: New Mexico is the first team to finish its season. The Lobos are the only team that did not have a week off this season, which is inexcusable. NEXT: Season over.
76. UCLA (4-6)
THE BUZZ: Rick Neuheisel's first trip back to Seattle was a fun one ? on the field, at least. NEXT: Nov. 28, at Arizona State.
77. TROY (6-4)

THE BUZZ: The Bulldogs can greatly strengthen their bowl hopes if they can win this weekend. NEXT: Saturday, at New Mexico State.

80. MARSHALL (4-6)
THE BUZZ: The Herd face an uphill climb to bowl eligibility ? and that bodes ill for coach Mark Snyder. NEXT: Saturday, at Rice.
81. SOUTHERN MISS (5-6)
THE BUZZ: Given that Conference USA has six bowl ties-ins, the Golden Eagles almost assuredly will go to a bowl if they can beat woeful SMU in two weeks. NEXT: Nov. 29, at SMU.
82. SAN JOSE STATE (6-5)
THE BUZZ: The Spartans have lost three of their past four, and their bowl hopes are fading. Friday basically is a must-win game NEXT: Friday, vs. Fresno State.

THE BUZZ: The Tigers are in good shape to go to a bowl. NEXT: Saturday, vs. UCF.
85. TENNESSEE (3-7)
THE BUZZ: A bad season for the Vols could get a lot worse if they lose to their in-state rivals this week. It's bad enough that Vandy will be going bowling while UT sits at home. But losing to the Commodores will make it that much tougher. NEXT: Saturday, at Vanderbilt.
86. UTEP (5-5)
THE BUZZ: Good news for UTEP is that its passing attack has been more than solid this season. Bad news for UTEP is that its pass defense has been rancid and Houston ? which is No. 2 in the nation in pass offense ? is next on the schedule. NEXT: Saturday, at Houston.
87. KANSAS STATE (4-7)
THE BUZZ: The Wildcats have lost five in a row. This week, though, they get the only team in the Big 12 worse than they are. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Iowa State.
88. TEXAS A&M (4-7)
THE BUZZ: The Aggies allowed 510 yards to Baylor . That means in their past two games, the Aggies have surrendered 1,163 yards. Maybe it's time to see if the 12th man actually can come on the field and be used as an extra defensive back. NEXT: Nov. 28, at Texas.
89. HAWAII (5-5)
THE BUZZ: The Warriors close out the regular season with three consecutive home games. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Idaho.
90. BOWLING GREEN (5-5)
THE BUZZ: The Falcons have won two in a row, and if they can make it three in a row Friday against division front-runner Buffalo, they keep alive their chances at a MAC East title. NEXT: Friday, vs. Buffalo.
91. AKRON (5-5)
THE BUZZ: As unbelievable as it sounds, if the Zips can finish 7-7, they have a solid chance to earn a bowl bid. Their remaining two opponents have won a combined five games. NEXT: Saturday, at Ohio.
92. LOUISIANA-LAFAYETTE (5-5)
THE BUZZ: The Ragin' Cajuns are tied for the Sun Belt lead with Troy. The teams play Saturday ? at Troy. NEXT: Saturday, at Troy.

96. FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL (4-5)
THE BUZZ: FIU, which has been one of the worst programs in the nation since its existence, has a legit chance to finish 7-5 this season ? and that likely would be enough to get a bowl bid. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Louisiana-Monroe.
97. SYRACUSE (2-8)
THE BUZZ: The Greg Robinson era officially ended Sunday, when A.D. Daryl Gross mercifully pulled the plug. NEXT: Saturday, at Notre Dame.
98. WYOMING (4-7)
THE BUZZ: You wonder if the Joe Glenn era will be coming to an end soon in Laramie. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Colorado State.
99. TOLEDO (2-8)
THE BUZZ: And the Tom Amstutz era will be ending soon in Toledo. The Rockets have lost four in a row and seven of their past eight ? with the only win coming at Michigan. NEXT: Friday, vs. Miami University.
100. MIDDLE TENNESSEE(4-6)
THE BUZZ: Talk about consistency: The Blue Raiders have scored between 21 and 24 points in each of their past five games. NEXT: Saturday, vs. North Texas

106. UTAH STATE (2-9)
THE BUZZ: The Aggies finished winless (0-6) on the road this season and have lost six of their past seven overall. NEXT GAME: Nov. 29, vs. New Mexico State.
107. KENT STATE (3-7)
THE BUZZ: Kent State's offense actually has been solid this season. The defense, though, has been rather atrocious. NEXT: Tuesday, vs. Northern Illinois.
108. UAB (3-7)
THE BUZZ: QB Joe Webb has four 100-yard rushing games this season, including a 130-yard, three-TD performance in a win at Tulane over the weekend. NEXT: Saturday, vs. East Carolina.
109. MIAMI UNIVERSITY (2-8)
THE BUZZ: The RedHawks are finishing the season with four consecutive non-Saturday games. Thing is, they way they're playing, that's probably good because less people are going to see them stink it up. NEXT: Friday, at Toledo.
110. TULANE (2-8)
THE BUZZ: You know things are going bad ? real, real bad ? when you lose to UAB ? at home ? by 17. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Tulsa.

THE BUZZ: The Bobcats are in danger of finishing last in the East Division of the MAC. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Akron.
113. LOUISIANA-MONROE (3-8)

114. IDAHO (2-9)
THE BUZZ: Another bad season is coming to an end. But, hey, the Vandals still get a trip to Hawaii out of the deal. NEXT: Saturday, at Hawaii.
115. SMU (1-10)
THE BUZZ: After its loss to UTEP, SMU now has lost 15 consecutive Conference USA games. Think about that for a minute. It's not as if SMU has lost 15 in a row in the Big 12 or SEC or even Big East. It has lost 15 in a row in C-USA. NEXT: Nov. 29, vs. Southern Miss.
116. EASTERN MICHIGAN (2-8)
THE BUZZ: The Eagles are in the midst of a 21-day layoff. Seriously. They played Nov. 1, then don't play again until Saturday. NEXT: Saturday, at Temple.

THE BUZZ: The Aztecs have lost their past seven contests by an average of almost 33 points per game. NEXT: Saturday, vs. UNLV.
118. WASHINGTON STATE (1-10)
THE BUZZ: Another game, another loss. But, hey, at least the streak of games in which the defense gave up at least 58 points ended at four. NEXT: Saturday, vs. Washington.
119. NORTH TEXAS (1-9)
THE BUZZ: This weekend's game will be the seventh and last road game of the season for the Mean Green. NEXT: Saturday, at Middle Tennessee.
