Cunningham snares elusive first touchdown
EAST LANSING - During the post-game press conference and later during player interviews, a number of questions came up about the five dropped passes by Michigan State receivers during the Spartans' season-opening 44-41 win over Montana State.
Dropped passes were problem throughout the course of the 2008 season. And drops once again reared their ugly head during the first game of 2009. But in a departure from the previous season, sophomore receiver B.J. Cunningham was not contributor to the dropped passes against Montana State.
In fact, Cunningham looked every bit as sure-handed as senior Blair White during the course of the season-opener.
