Auburn calls STA standout backer
Monday, Sept. 1, was the first day college coaches could contact recruits. Auburn didn't waste much time getting in touch with Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas linebacker Conor O'Neill.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder received a call from recruiting coach Eddie Gran on the first day.
"He gave me a call and we talked for about 10 minutes. We talked about a former teammate, (Philip Pierre-Louis), how he got hurt this year, and how we did last week. We just had a good conversation," said O'Neill.
