Opurum in no rush to decide
Despite rushing for just 600 yards as a junior, Toben Opurum has emerged as one of the more heavily recruited running back prospects in the 2009 class. BCS schools such as Arkansas, Kansas, LSU, Nebraska, Purdue and Texas Tech have extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-2, 229-pound running back from Plano (Texas) East High School. On Monday evening, Opurum Jayhawk Slant that he is wide-open at this time, but also made it clear that he is currently liking two schools in particular.
In all, Opurum, the No. 45 ranked prospect in the state of Texas, has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas, LSU, Nebraska, Purdue, Texas Tech and Wake Forest. Of all the schools currently involved in his recruitment, only LSU, Texas and Notre Dame would like the three-star prospect to play fullback.
