While Branden Ore has been the star of the offense in the first two games his backups, George Bell and Elan Lewis, have been downright impotent. The duo have combined for a total of 51 yards on 16 carries for a paltry 3.1 yards per tote. These not so stellar stats have come Against 1-AA northeastern and the swiss cheese D of the UNC Tarheels, not exactly top notch competition. George Bell has never fully recovered from a devastating knee injury he suffered in high school and Lewis showed up to camp 20lbs overweight. The coaches are so concerned with the lack of production that they have activated true freshman speedster Kenny Lewis for the Duke game.
