Its no secret that Earl Patin likes LSU. The 6-foot-1, 228-pound inside linebacker prospect from Baton Rouge (La.) Southern Lab has been listing the Tigers as his No. 1 college option for the duration of the recruiting process.

Now, however, he says there Huskers are gaining on the Tigers.

Patin has offers from LSU, Nebrasksa, Miami, Florida, Clemson, Alabama, Ole Miss and others.
