Last year, late in January, Brookhaven defensive tackle Jesse Bowman was still keeping things close to the vest and with only a few days before signing day, he still had not made a public decision.

He ended up signing with Mississippi State, but ended up at Co-Lin C.C. after falling short academically.

After a stellar season, the recruiting process has picked up again, and once again, Bowman is being tight-lipped, but with one exception: This time he has a leader.

"Mississippi State is number one, number one, because of the coaching staff," he said. "I am still in touch with coach Beamer and coach Croom. I went up there for junior day."
