Kenneth Kirksey arrived on the banks from prep school in time for the 2011 spring semester, and immediately the stout 6-foot-1, 270-pound defensive tackle had to begin to acclimate himself to life as a college defensive lineman, especially on the field. Kirksey is still working hard to complete the transition, but according to head coach Greg Schiano, some of the early returns are promising.
