KU not tough enough
Sunday in Knoxville, Tenn., ended in major disappointment for Kansas. For the second straight game, Sherron Collins was virtually the only player who could put up points for the Jayhawks. While the loss does little to affect KU in the long run, the lack of effort over the past two games has exposed a major flaw for Bill Self's team, they just aren't tough enough. As conference season approaches, the Jayhawks have been exposed. The No. 1 ranking is gone, the national hype is gone; meaning its gut-check time for one of college basketball's title contenders.
