Auburn offers 4-star corner

AuburnSports.com Cornerback has suddenly become a big need for Auburn's 2010 class.
The Tigers have targeted several new prospects including Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake's Darius Robinson, who received a visit from AU assistant Tommy Thigpen Wednesday.
Thigpen dropped by Westlake where he informed Robinson's coach that Auburn was offering. The next day, Robinson had a written offer in his hand.
"I was actually surprised," Robinson said. "Auburn was one of the first schools to show interest in me but I didn't receive an offer because I heard they had limited scholarships."
Despite not offering early on, Thigpen stayed in contact with Robinson, even after the 6-foot, 170-pounder committed to Clemson in July.
